Palmistry, or chiromancy, is practised in many cultures. In India it is Hasta Samudrika Shastra; in Europe it grew through Greek and medieval teachers. The four classic lines and the four hand types are common to most schools, though each school reads the details differently.
Nothing here is measured from a photo. You choose the description that fits your own hand. The line called the life line says nothing about how long you will live, a common mistake. There is no scientific evidence that the lines of the hand describe character or future.
