Astral Nexus

Privacy Notice

What we keep, and what we never see

Your birth details are worked out on your device. This page lists the few things that do leave it, one by one.

01Who we are

Astral Nexus is run by Athi 360 and is in an open beta. You can reach us about anything on this page at support@astralnexus.athi360.uk. This notice was last updated on 11 October 2026.

02The short version

There are no accounts. The calculations, including your Moon sign, your rising sign, the planetary hours and the readings under the wheel, are worked out in your browser. Your date, time and place of birth are not sent to us. A few features need a server, and each one is listed below with exactly what it sends.

03What stays on your device

Your choice of theme, motion and language is kept in your browser so the site remembers it.

If you press Keep on this device and tick the box that says you have read this notice and the Terms, your date, time and place of birth are saved in this browser so that tomorrow’s visit opens on your own day. If you also tick the location box, your current position, rounded to about one kilometre, is saved too. Both stay in your browser. We do not receive them.

You can remove them at any time with Forget this device in the “Your sky now” section, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

When you press Use my location, your browser asks for permission and the position is used only to work out the rising sign and the hours where you are. It is not sent to us.

04What leaves your device, and why

Place search

The place you type

When you type a place of birth, the words you type are sent to our server, which asks GeoNames and Open-Meteo for matching places and their coordinates. Results are kept at the edge of our host for up to an hour, filed under the place text and not under you.

Chat

Questions you send

When you press Send in the chat, your last few messages (up to six, each cut to 500 characters) go to our server and on to the AI service we use to write the reply. We do not store them. Please do not type anything you would not want an AI service to read.

Dream reading

Only if you tick the box

The text of a dream is sent for an AI reading only if you tick the AI box on the dream page. It is not stored by us. Without the tick, dream matching happens in your browser.

Translation

The site’s own words

When you choose a language the site does not yet have, our server asks an AI service to translate the site’s own interface text. Nothing you have typed is sent.

Contributions

Paying through Stripe

If you contribute, you are sent to a page run by Stripe, which takes your card details. We never see them. We learn the amount and, only if you choose to appear on the supporter wall, the name you give. The wall never shows amounts.

Visit counts

Which page was opened

When a page opens, your browser tells our server the page’s address, such as /read/kp, and we add one to that page’s count for the day. We store the day, the page and the count, and nothing else: no cookie, no identifier, no network address. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent. The counts show us which pages are used and how many people reach the support page; they cannot be traced to anyone.

Hosting

What any web host sees

Our host, Cloudflare, serves the pages and, like any host, handles your network address and browser details to deliver them and to protect the site.

Abuse limits. To stop one person using up the AI features, we count requests per hour against a shortened one-way hash of your network address. We do not keep the address itself, and the count expires within the hour.

Files from other sites. Your browser fetches fonts from Google Fonts and the 3D library from cdnjs and jsDelivr. Those services therefore see your network address and browser details, as they do on any site that uses them.

05Installing the site as an app

You can add Astral Nexus to your home screen or desktop. Your browser then keeps a copy of the site’s own pages, scripts and pictures so they can open without a connection. That copy holds nothing you type, and nothing is sent to us when it is made.

06Cookies

Astral Nexus does not set cookies. Stripe’s payment page, which is not part of this site, sets its own.

07Your rights

Because the readings are worked out on your device, we hold almost nothing about you. You have the usual rights under UK data protection law to ask what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to the address above and we will reply. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

The optional features rest on your consent. Running the site securely and fairly rests on our legitimate interest in keeping it available.

08Children

Astral Nexus is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

09Changes to this notice

If we change what the site does with your information, we will update this page and its date. If a change affects something you agreed to, such as what is kept on your device, we will ask you again before relying on the old agreement.
